These terms govern your use of SinTax. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use SinTax, in line with its App Store age rating. By using the app, you confirm you meet this requirement.
Your account
You sign in with an email address and choose a username. You're responsible for keeping access to your email secure, since it's how you sign in. Don't impersonate another person or organization with your username.
Confessions and content
You're solely responsible for what you post. Confessions are shown publicly under your username. You agree not to post content that:
- Is illegal, or promotes illegal activity;
- Identifies, harasses, or threatens a specific real person;
- Contains child sexual abuse material in any form;
- Infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- Is spam, or unrelated to genuine confession/discussion.
Content tagged NSFW must still comply with the above — the tag is for mature themes, not an exemption from these rules. Any confession can be flagged by other users for review, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Sin Credits and payments
- Sin Credits are purchased via auto-renewing monthly subscriptions or one-time Boosts, processed entirely through the App Store.
- Posting a confession spends credits (minimum 99, or 999 for NSFW); posting a Good Deed earns 9 credits instead.
- Credits expire one year from the date they're issued.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel your subscription from your Apple ID account settings.
- Credits and subscriptions have no cash value and can't be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for money.
- Purchases are subject to Apple's refund policies — SinTax doesn't process payments or issue refunds directly.
Anonymity has limits
SinTax doesn't display your real identity to other users, but this isn't a guarantee of absolute anonymity. We may access account information (including your email) to investigate abuse, respond to legal process, or enforce these terms.
Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time in the app. This removes your login and personal account details; confessions you've already posted remain visible under your existing username, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.
Disclaimer
SinTax is provided "as is." Confessions are user-submitted content and reflect the views of the individual poster, not SinTax. We don't verify the truth of any confession.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SinTax is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or content posted by other users.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SinTax after a change means you accept the updated terms.
